Location
Pensiunea Next sits 2.2 km from the centre of Timișoara, in Timișoara. You are outside the ring, so reckon on a tram or a bus into the centre; the trade is usually parking and a quieter street.
The quarter around it is covered on the Fabric page, which sets out what it costs, how you get in and out, and what is against it.
The facilities, in detail
The supplier record lists 9 facilities. Parking appears in the listing, which matters inside the ring where metered space is short. Air conditioning is listed — worth confirming for July and August, when the city sits around 30°C.
Facility lists in this catalogue are supplied by the property and are not checked by us. Anything that decides your booking — a lift, a cot, parking, a late arrival — is worth confirming directly before you pay.
What the property offers
The supplier record lists 9 facilities. Grouped, they read like this; the wording is the catalogue's, not ours.
For families: family rooms.
For working and staying connected: free wifi, internet access, wifi.
Arriving and getting around: free car parking, parking.
Outdoors and wellness: terrace.
In the room: air conditioning, non smoking rooms.
Who it suits
Family rooms or a cot are listed, so it is set up for children rather than merely tolerating them.
Parking is on the record, which matters here: the centre is a paid-parking zone and most apartments in the old quarters have none.
At 2.2 km from Piața Unirii you will use the tram or a taxi to reach the centre; the day ticket is the cheap way to do it.
A garden or a balcony is listed, worth having in the hot Banat summer.
About Fabric, in brief
Fabric suits travellers who want the old industrial Timișoara rather than the polished squares. This is the quarter on the north bank of the Bega where the Timișoreana brewery has stood since 1718, where Piața Traian opens onto peeling Secession blocks, and where the streets still carry the names of trades. If you like your cities with a bit of grit and a lot of history, and you do not mind walking or taking a tram to the centre, this is your district.
Fabric is across the Bega from the centre, connected by four bridges. The walk to Piața Victoriei, the main square, takes 15–20 minutes from Piața Traian. To Piața Unirii, the heart of Cetate, it is 20–25 minutes. The riverside path along the Bega is flat and pleasant, and you can walk or cycle it. If you are going to the train station, Gara de Nord, it is a 25-minute walk or a short tram ride.
The full guide to the quarter, with what it costs and what is against it, is on the Fabric page.
Things to know, from the quarter guide:
Good to know before you book
Cobbles are the usual surprise in the centre: wheeled cases rattle and heels suffer. Most museums close on Monday. Terraces take cards; the markets and the bakeries prefer cash.
Coming in by tram is straightforward, but buy the ticket in the app or at the kiosk before you board — you cannot pay the driver.
Where our data comes from
This page is built from the booking catalogue, not from a visit. The name, the star rating, the address, the coordinates and the facility list are the supplier's own record for hotel 12121575; the distances are measured from those coordinates to Piața Unirii. Nobody pays to appear here and there is no commission ranking.
What we have written ourselves — the quarters, the guides, the things to do — is on the rest of the site, and it is written from the ground. This page is a catalogue entry, and says so.
